Da Best

As everybody knows, Gösta is on one hand, a greek native speaker, and on the other hand a fine gastronomist that knows all the specialities of each island. Santorini is not an exception to his extended awareness, and specially the 3 "cocchino"s if the island : Caldera, Atlantis, Vulcania. After having drunk with an oustanding facilitiy the first bottle, we decided to take an other one, and in our long quest of knowledge of Greece, it had to be an other kind of wine. Our guest, the multifunctional Dimitri, proposed us nothing less than "Da Best" still at 9 euros the bottle... But after a few sip, it was clear to anybody (but Dimitri) that this bottle was "bouchonné"... which happens to be the only greek word that Gösta doesn't know... so we ended up drinking the bottle, giving of course a new sense to the expression... "The Best" |
